• Diese Bachelorarbeit befasst sich mit der Verwendung der Leichten Sprache in der Kommunikationsarbeit von deutschen Krankenhäusern. Eine Literaturstudie verdeutlicht zunächst, dass diese Sprachvarietät insbesondere in der Kommunikation mit Patienten notwendig ist. Als erster Schritt der empirischen Forschungsarbeit zeigt eine telefonische Umfrage, dass Leichte Sprache in der Branche bisher kaum verbreitet ist. Nichtsdestotrotz: Ein großes Interesse besteht. Gespräche mit den vier First Adopters machen einzelne Arbeitsschritte bisheriger Projekte transparent und decken Herausforderungen und Chancen auf. Auffällig ist unter anderem, welche Motive die Gesprächspartner für den Einsatz der Leichten Sprache angeben. Die wichtigsten Aussagen werden am Ende in einem Leitfaden zusammengefasst. Dieser soll Krankenhäusern dabei helfen, Leichte Sprache in Zukunft zu verwenden.
• This bachelor thesis deals with the use of Leichte Sprache in the corpo-rate communications of German hospitals. Based on a literature study, this paper shows the necessity of Leichte Sprache, especially in the communication with patients. As the first step of the empirical study a telephone survey with persons which are responsible for hospital communications exposes that this language variety is barely in common use. However, there is a big in-terest in it. Four detailed talks with the First Adopters cover up the work-ing steps of existing projects and shed light upon challenges and opportunities. Noticeable among the results is which motivation the discussion partners specify for the application of Leichte Sprache. At the end, the striking conclusions are summarized in a guideline. This is meant as an assistance for hospitals to work with Leichte Sprache in the future.
