N2  - Im Mittelpunkt des Beitrags stehen Bedarfsgerechtigkeit und Wirtschaftlichkeit der Verteilung sprachtherapeutischer Ressourcen aus gesundheitsökonomischer Perspektive. Einleitend werden Grundlagen, Ziele und Methoden der Gesundheitsökonomie skizziert. Nach einer kurzen Darstellung der sprachtherapeutischen Versorgungssituation in Deutschland werden Entwicklungsperspektiven formuliert. In 5 abschließenden Thesen heben die Autoren disparate Versorgungslagen und Gefahren sprachtherapeutischer Unter- und Überversorgung hervor. Um langfristig eine bedarfsgerechte und wirtschaftliche Versorgung zu gewährleisten, sind verlässliche, empirische gestützte Informationen zum Versorgungsbedarf sowie zur Quantität, Qualität und Effizienz logopädischer Interven­tionen erforderlich.
N2  - This article focuses on just and fair allocation of speech and language therapy resources in Germany from a health economic perspective. According to German social law both needs-orientation and efficiency are required aspects of social justice. Following a short delineation of aims and methods in health economics, the present allocation and provision of services and resources in speech and language therapy are outlined. In conclusion, perspectives for further development are suggested. In order to ensure a needs-based and efficient resource allocation, reliable data regarding both the needs assessment of speech and language therapy and the quantity, quality and efficiency of interventions are crucial.
